Urgent Debates Declined — Minister of Education—Special Needs Education
Time unknown
I have received a letter from David Seymour seeking to debate under Standing Order 399 the actions and comments of the Minister of Education regarding special needs education in public schools. This is a particular case of recent occurrence for which there is ministerial responsibility. Having considered the matters raised by the member in his letter, I’m not convinced that it reached the threshold that warrants setting aside the business of the House, particularly given the fact that we’re about to commence the Estimates debate. The application is therefore declined.
