🗣️ Speech Hon Chris Hipkins (New Zealand Labour Party — Member for Remutaka)
Time unknown

My apologies, Mr Speaker—I just have to find the right piece of paper to do the bit that I need to do.

💬 SPEAKER: Do you want me to read it to you?

No, no, it’s all right; I can get there—I can get there. I seek leave for the Estimates debate to be structured around portfolios rather than sectors, and for the chairperson or member of the committee that considered the Estimates most closely related to the Minister’s portfolios to lead off each debate, despite Standing Order 348.

🗣️ Speech Sir Rt Hon Trevor Mallard (New Zealand Labour Party — List Member)
Time unknown

Is there any objection to that course of action being followed? There is none.
