Business Statement
on behalf of the Leader of the House: Today, the House adjourns until Tuesday, 23 July. Legislation to be considered in that week will include the remaining stages of the New Zealand Public Health and Disability (Waikato DHB) Elections Bill, the Health (Drinking Water) Amendment Bill, and the Copyright (Marrakesh Treaty Implementation) Amendment Bill. The Taxation (KiwiSaver, Student Loans, and Remedial Matters) Bill will receive its first reading. On Thursday, 25 July, the Ngāi Rangi Claims Settlement Bill will receive its third reading.
I thank the acting Leader of the House for her update and wish her and her Labour colleagues all the best for 3.15 this afternoon. Can I inquire—
💬 SPEAKER: Order!
—as to any progress in obtaining sufficient support to progress the Health (Fluoridation of Drinking Water) Amendment Bill, including the support of Government parties?
Thank you, Mr Speaker. I thank that member for his well-wishes for this afternoon, and I can advise that member that that legislation will progress at the appropriate time.
