Time unknown

I seek leave to move a motion without notice and without debate on the eighth anniversary of World Down Syndrome Day.

💬 Mr SPEAKER: Leave is sought for that motion to be put. Is there any objection? There is none. The motion can be put.

I move, That this House note that today is the eighth anniversary of World Down Syndrome Day, that it is the second time that the day has been acknowledged under the auspices of the United Nations, and that the House recognise the contribution of New Zealanders with Down syndrome to our country and communities.

Motion agreed to.
