Points of Order — Motions, Members’—Process for Debating

I raise a point of order, Mr Speaker. My question to you was whether there is a process in respect of that motion; not whether it appears in the business of the House tomorrow, but what the process is thereafter, particularly—[Interruption]

💬 Mr SPEAKER: This is not a matter for the proceedings of the House right now. It is not a matter that should be dealt with in this manner. The member knows how notices of motion are dealt with. They sit on the Order Paper, and if nothing is done with them for a period, I think, of 5 sitting days, they drop off the Order Paper. The member knows that.
