Next week in the House priority will be given to the remaining stages of the Employment Relations Amendment Bill, the Child Support Amendment Bill (No 4), and the Standards and Conformance Bill. Wednesday is a members’ day.

Could the Leader of the House indicate whether he intends to introduce validating or retrospective legislation on any subject matter during the course of this parliamentary session.

I have no idea what the courts may come up with at any time within the next few weeks; if the member is referring to another matter, we have yet to see a report from the Auditor-General.
