Next week the House will go into a 2-week adjournment period. When the House resumes on Tuesday, 5 October priority will be given to the remaining stages of the Electricity and Gas Industries Bill, to the second readings of the Employment Relations Law Reform Bill, the Parental Leave and Employment Protection Amendment Bill, and the Holidays Amendment Bill, and to the first readings of the Subordinate Legislation (Confirmation and Validation) Bill (No 3), and the Social Security (Social Assistance) Amendment Bill. Members’ days will be in the first and third weeks of the next session.
