🗣️ Speech
Mr SPEAKER
Time unknown
I have received a letter from Peter Brown seeking an urgent debate on the “state of our electricity industry”. This is clearly not a particular case of recent occurrence, and cannot give grounds for a debate. In his letter, the member refers to a recent report by an electricity industry consultant but has provided no authenticating material in respect of it. In these circumstances, the application for a debate is rejected.
