Mr SPEAKER
Time unknown
I have received a letter from Dr Muriel Newman seeking to debate under Standing Order 373 the Department of Child, Youth and Family Services’ management of its waiting list of unallocated cases of potential child abuse. As has been ruled on many occasions before, a continuing issue such as unemployment figures, for example, and, in this case, the management of waiting lists cannot give rise to a debate under Standing Order 373. There being no particular case of recent occurrence, this application is declined.
