Vote: Bills β Crimes Amendment Bill
β Third Reading
π³οΈ That the Crimes Amendment Bill be now read a third time
ARENA WILLIAMS: Thank you Madam Speaker for the opportunity to speak on this bill, the Crimes Amendment Bill. This is a bill that Labor does not support. When I think about the impact that it will have on New Zealanders now, as well...

Third Reading β this is the last vote a bill needs to
pass before it's sent off to become law. Earlier votes (first reading, second reading, and
any votes on amendments along the way) decide what the bill looks like and whether it
keeps moving forward, but this is the one that actually decides whether it happens at all.
π£οΈ Passed on the voices β no MP called for a
formal, counted division on this one, so there's no Ayes/Noes tally or named vote to show,
just Hansard's own recorded outcome.
