Voting — Correction—Sentencing (Reform) Amendment Bill

Members, before I take the next call, during the committee stage of the Sentencing (Reform) Amendment Bill, the result of the vote on Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan’s tabled amendment to clause 1, replacing “Sentencing (Reform) Amendment Act” with “Sentencing (Discount Cap and other Matters) Amendment Act”, was incorrectly announced as Ayes 58 and Noes 68. The correct result is Ayes 55 and Noes 68. The record will be corrected accordingly.
