Petitions, Papers, Select Committee Reports, and Introduction of Bills

There have been no petitions presented to the Clerk to put before the House. I present the report of the Auditor-General entitled How Public Organisations Are Fulfilling Treaty Settlements, and that paper is published under the authority of the House. Three select committee reports have been delivered for presentation.

inquiry into the appointment of a Controller and Auditor-General.

The reports are set down for consideration. The Clerk has been informed of the introduction of three bills.

Those bills are set down for first reading. I note one member’s excitement with that life jacket bill—I think he might need something bigger than a child’s life jacket!
