I seek leave to move a motion without notice or debate on the reappointment of the Inspector of the Inspector-General of Intelligence and Security.

I move, That, under section 157 of the Intelligence and Security Act 2017, this House recommend to Her Excellency the Governor-General the reappointment of Brendan John Horsley as the Inspector-General of Intelligence and Security for a term expiring on 7 June 2028.
