Motions — Pike River Disaster—15th Anniversary
Time unknown
Before I call the next question, I’ll just go back to the drill sheet for a Government motion that I understand was circulated to the House.
Time unknown
Thank you, Mr Speaker. I seek leave to move a motion without notice or debate to recognise the anniversary of the Pike River disaster.
💬 SPEAKER: Is there any objection to that course of action being followed? There is none.
I move, That this House notes that 19 November 2025 marks 15 years since the Pike River disaster; express its condolences to family and friends who will forever be profoundly impacted; and thank rescue and support teams for their service on that day and the days that followed.
Motion agreed to.
