Urgent Debates Declined — State of Palestine—Government decision not to recognise
Time unknown
Members, I’ve received a letter from the Rt Hon Chris Hipkins seeking to debate under Standing Order 399 the Government’s decision to not recognise a State of Palestine. This is a particular case of recent occurrence for which there is ministerial responsibility. However, the House has just spent a considerable period of time following the ministerial statement by the Rt Hon Winston Peters considering these matters. I therefore decline the application.
