Karakia/Prayers
π
Recorded under the Tuesday, 10 December 2024 session -
Hansard's own transcript for this session runs through to
Friday, 13 December 2024, so this debate may
really have happened on a later date within that range rather than on
10 December itself - we can't tell which
exact date from Hansard's own record of it.
π Hansard marked this day's transcript "Corrected" (not yet "Final") as of our last import -
it may since have changed again. Check the
official transcript
if anything here looks off.

Almighty God, we give thanks for the blessings which have been bestowed on us. Laying aside all personal interests, we acknowledge the King and pray for guidance in our deliberations, that we may conduct the affairs of this House with wisdom, justice, mercy, and humility for the welfare and peace of New Zealand. Amen.
