Amended Answers to Oral Questions — Question No. 7 to Minister

I seek leave to make a personal statement to correct an answer to an oral question.

In response to question No. 7 this afternoon, 20 June 2023, I stated that I was advised that the equity adjuster is used in two hospitals: Auckland and Middlemore. However, I have since been advised that the equity adjuster is used in Auckland and Greenlane hospitals. Due to outsourcing arrangements, patients within the Auckland district are sometimes treated outside of these two hospitals. Since answering the question, I have also been advised that the equity adjuster was also in the process of being rolled out across a small number of subspecialties in the wider northern region.
