Motions — APRA Silver Scroll Awards 2022—Congratulations

Point of order, Mr Speaker. I seek leave to move a motion without notice and without debate that this House congratulate all the nominees and recipients of the awards at the APRA Silver Scroll Awards 2022 last night in Tāmaki-makau-rau.

I move, That this House congratulate all nominees and recipients of awards at the APRA Silver Scroll Awards 2022, acknowledge them for their extraordinary contribution to the culture and creative fabric of Aotearoa, celebrate their unique ability to reach and uplift communities right around Aotearoa and the world, acknowledge the significant contribution of Tuini Moetū Haangū Ngāwai and Te Kumeroa Ngoingoi Pēwhairangi, who were inducted into the New Zealand Music Hall of Fame, and congratulate Rob Ruha, Kaea Hills, Te Amorutu Broughton, Ainsley Tai, Dan Martin, Whenua Patuwai, and Ka Hao, who won the 2022 APRA Silver Scroll Award for their waiata “State Highway 35”.
