Urgent Debates Declined — Kiwibank—Public Ownership

I’ve received a letter from David Seymour seeking to debate under Standing Order 399 the Government’s decision to acquire 100 percent of Kiwibank’s parent company. This is a particular case of recent occurrence for which there is ministerial responsibility. What is not clear from the application is the element of urgency requiring the business of the House to be set aside today. The application is declined.
