Speaker’s Rulings — Motions—Seeking Leave to Move
Time unknown
I do want to remind members of the processes involved in seeking leave for notices and that is—and it’s been ruled on a number of times now—that members are to, before the House sits, ascertain whether leave is to be received or not for those notices, and to seek leave to move something when a member knows permission is not going to be given is disorderly. It’s not a debatable matter.
