Motions — J-Force Arrival in Japan—75th Anniversary
Time unknown
I seek leave to move a motion without notice or debate to note the 75th anniversary of the arrival of J-Force in Japan.
💬 SPEAKER: Leave is sought for that course of action. Is there any objection? There is none.
I move, That the House note the national commemoration on Friday, 19 March that marked the 75th anniversary of the arrival of J-Force in Japan and honour the contribution of more than 12,000 New Zealanders who took part in the post-war occupation of Japan between 1946 and 1949, including the 15 who died while serving in the country.
Motion agreed to.
