Members, during the debate on the instruction to the select committee on the Climate Change Response (Auction Price) Amendment Bill, the House agreed to the closure motion but did not vote on the substantive motion. When a closure motion is agreed, the debate concludes; that’s under Standing Order 139. When a debate concludes, the Speaker must put the question to the House, Standing Order 140. Because this did not occur, I will now put the question to the House.
