Climate Change Response (Emissions Trading Reform) Amendment Bill

I remind members that the House has agreed to trial the removal of the four-call limit in the committee stage. I therefore encourage you to keep your contributions focused—five minutes is not a target—and relevant to promote good interaction with the Minister in the chair. We have the ability, then, to take short calls and have a series of questions and answers between members and the Minister. You can be confident that you will get a number of short calls. Can I just add also that if the member on their feet yields to the Minister, the member can be assured they will get the next call. Can I suggest the Minister can come closer to the officials, if that would be easier? I think it would be.
