Speaker’s Statements — New Zealand Land Wars—Unveiling of Commemorative Plaque

Members, earlier this morning we have unveiled a plaque commemorating the New Zealand Wars of the 19th century. This plaque joins others on the walls of this House acknowledging and honouring New Zealanders who have lost their lives in conflicts. I would now like members to join me in a moment’s silence as we remember those who lost their lives in the New Zealand Wars.
Members stood as a mark of respect.
