I move, That, under section 4D of the Electoral Act 1993 and section 32 of the Crown Entities Act 2004, this House recommends Her Excellency the Governor-General appoint Janet Marie Shroff, CVO, CNZM as chairperson of the Electoral Commission for a term of five years, and appoint Jane Katharine Meares as the deputy chairperson of the Electoral Commission for a term of five years.
