Speaker’s Statements — Oral Questions, 18 June—Speaker’s Rulings
Time unknown
Before we come to oral questions, I have reviewed the interchange between myself and the Hon Paula Bennett during question No. 2 yesterday. As I indicated to the House, I was under the impression that the baby that was being referenced had died, and that influenced my intervention. I have subsequently learnt that the media report I relied on was not correct. I apologise to both Ms Bennett and the House for my interventions yesterday.
