Legislation to be considered next week will include the remaining stages of the Arms (Prohibited Firearms, Magazines, and Parts) Amendment Bill and the Social Security (Winter Energy Payment) Amendment Bill, the second reading of the Taxation (Research and Development Tax Credits) Bill, and the first readings of the Land Transport (Wheel Clamping) Amendment Bill and the Credit Contracts and Consumer Finance Amendment Bill.

I thank the Leader of the House for that indication of next week’s work programme and I wonder if he might give us some indication of when the Government intends to adopt item No. 4 on the members’ orders of the day.
