Part 2 is very short. It consists of three clauses and one schedule. Part 2 will repeal the Birdlings Flat Land Titles Act 1993. This Act, which Mr Bishop sort of jumped the gun on, authorised the Birdlings Flat Land Titles Commissioner to divide the land at Birdlings Flat on the Banks Peninsula into separate land titles. This Act is no longer needed because the subdivision was completed in 2000. Part 2 also makes consequential amendments to Acts and regulations to align with the changes made in Part 1. I recommend this to the committee.
