Today, the House adjourns until Tuesday, 4 September. When the House resumes, priority will be given to the Canterbury Earthquakes Insurance Tribunal Bill, the Building Amendment Bill, the Electoral (Integrity) Amendment Bill, the Education (Teaching Council of Aotearoa) Amendment Bill, and the Conservation (Indigenous Freshwater Fish) Amendment Bill. On Thursday, 6 September, the Iwi and Hapū of Te Rohe o Te Wairoa Claims Settlement Bill will receive its third reading. Wednesday, 5 September will be a members’ day.

Thanks to the Leader of the House for giving us that fairly comprehensive indication of what’s coming in that first week when the House resumes. I wonder if he’s able to give us any indication of when there will be a Resource Management Act reform bill introduced to the House, as promised by New Zealand First.
