Sittings of the House
I raise a point of order, Madam Speaker. Despite the differences of opinion in the final vote, I think it was a very constructive debate, and as such, it’s a good note—
💬 Hon Gerry Brownlee: Oh, come on! We’ve just had a week off! Come on!
Ha, ha! I wondered why the member had come down. Ha, ha!
💬 Hon Gerry Brownlee: Can’t believe it! Oh, dear Lord!
ASSISTANT SPEAKER (Poto Williams): Order! Let’s hear this point of order.
On that note, I’d like to seek leave for the House to rise, rather than start the next bill just for a couple of minutes.
Leave is sought for that purpose. Is there any objection? There appears to be none.
The House adjourned at 5.55 p.m.
