I seek leave to move a motion without notice or debate that this House note that yesterday, 29 May, was the International Day of United Nations Peacekeepers.

💬 Mr SPEAKER: Is there any objection to that course of action being followed? There is none.

I move, That this House note that yesterday, 29 May, was the International Day of United Nations Peacekeepers, and pay tribute to more than 113,000 peacekeepers deployed to 16 missions around the world, including New Zealand armed forces personnel and police, whose important work reflects the United Nations’ commitment to save succeeding generations from the scourge of war.

Motion agreed to.
