I seek leave to move a motion without notice or debate on the human rights record of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

💬 Mr SPEAKER: Is there any objection to that course of action being followed? There is none.

I move, That this House condemn the human rights record of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, which is detailed in the United Nations 2014 commission of inquiry into both systematic abuse and repression, and that this House call on the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to give access to human rights bodies and international agencies to improve the lives of the North Korean people.

Motion agreed to.
