When the House resumes on Tuesday, 15 March the Government will look to make progress on the Land Transfer Bill, the New Zealand Horticulture Export Authority Amendment Bill, and a number of other bills on the Order Paper.

I wondered whether the Leader of the House wanted to mention at this point the fact that we will be extending the sitting on next Wednesday.

I made the general mistake of assuming that members read the reports of the Business Committee, digest those reports, and then commit them to their diaries, but, indeed, the shadow Leader of the House is correct: the House will sit in extended hours next Wednesday morning, for the passing of a number of Treaty settlement bills.
