I seek leave to introduce a member’s bill in my name to increase the number of options for alternative flags to five, and to add a question to the first flag referendum under the New Zealand Flag Referendums Act 2015, asking whether New Zealanders want to change the flag at all, and for the bill to be set down for first reading before private and local orders of the day No. 1. I also seek leave for the bill to progress through all stages today.
