🗣️ Speech Hon Louise Upston (New Zealand National Party — Member for Taupō)
Time unknown

I seek leave to move a motion without notice and without debate to congratulate the Silver Ferns on their success at the Netball World Cup to date.

💬 Mr SPEAKER: Leave is sought for that purpose. Is there any objection? There is none.

I move, That the House congratulate the Silver Ferns on their success at the Netball World Cup to date, and wish them well for the remainder of the competition, while noting that the New Zealand parliamentary netball team, co-captained by myself and Louisa Wall, will travel to Australia this week to support the World Cup tournament and to play an inaugural game against Australian counterparts in recognition of the WW100 ANZAC events.

Motion agreed to.
