I seek leave to move a motion without notice and without debate concerning the 150th anniversary of Wellington being the capital of New Zealand.

💬 Mr SPEAKER: Is there any objection to that course of action? There is none.

I move, That this House note that 25 July 2015 marks the 150th anniversary of the day on which Wellington became the capital of New Zealand, and also note that 26 July 2015 is the 150th anniversary of the first official sitting of Parliament in Wellington.

Motion agreed to.
