Business Statement
Time unknown
When the House resumes on Tuesday, 17 March the Government will look to progress a number of bills on the Order Paper, including the Human Rights Amendment Bill, the Construction Contracts Amendment Bill, and the Statutes Amendment Bill (No 4).
Time unknown
I wonder whether the Leader of the House could advise us whether the Government has any intentions to progress matters regarding members’ remuneration during next week and whether in fact he envisages that replacing the members’ day that would normally be scheduled for Wednesday.
Time unknown
It is most definitely the Government’s intention to progress that legislation. It is not the Government’s intention for it to impede members’ day.
