Address in Reply β Presentation to Governor-General
I have to announce that, accompanied by members, I attended upon His Excellency the Governor-General with the Address in Reply agreed to by the House in reply to the speech at the opening of this Parliament. His Excellency was pleased to make the following reply:
MR SPEAKER AND MEMBERS OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES:
I receive with much pleasure the Address which has been adopted by the House of Representatives in reply to my speech at the Opening of the First Session of the Fifty-first Parliament of New Zealand. I thank you for your assurance that the matters referred to in my speech will receive your careful consideration.
