I seek leave of the House to correct a vote that was incorrectly cast for the last appropriations amendment.

💬 Mr DEPUTY SPEAKER: Could you say which amendment that is, please.

It was in the name of David Cunliffe.

💬 Mr DEPUTY SPEAKER: I see. It was the amendment to the second reading of the Budget debate. And you are referring to a New Zealand First vote?

Yes.

🗣️ Speech Eric Roy (New Zealand National Party — Member for Invercargill)
Time unknown

Leave is sought for that purpose. Is there anyone opposed to that course of action? There appears not. Can we have the number?

💬 Barbara Stewart: The number is 7 in favour.

Seven in favour. The record will show that. [Interruption] Do you want me to put the question? I will give you the correct numbers of the voting on the amendment proposed by David Cunliffe. The Noes are 64; the Ayes are 57.
