When the House resumes on Tuesday, 18 March the Government will look to progress a number of bills on the Order Paper, including the Electoral Amendment Bill, the Industry Training and Apprenticeships Amendment Bill, and the Land Transport and Road User Charges Legislation Amendment Bill.

Can I ask of the Leader of the House, now that we know that the House plans to rise on 31 July, whether he has any plans for any bouts of urgency between now and then.

The Government treats all its activities with a degree of urgency, as will be evidenced by its great success over the last 5 years. As to the desire to keep the Opposition here for long hours trying to progress that legislation programme, the time we are here will largely be in their hands.
