Amended Answers to Oral Questions β Question No. 6 to Minister, 5 March

I seek leave to make a personal explanation to correct an answer to question No. 6 on 5 March.
π¬ Mr SPEAKER: Leave is sought for that course of action. Is there any objection? There is none.
I stated to the House on that date that the number of MΔori students enrolled in qualifications at Bachelorβs degree level or higher had increased to nearly 29,000 in 2012. That was incorrect. The correct figure is nearly 22,000. It remains an increase of 25 percent, on 2007 numbers.
