πŸ—£οΈ Speech Hon Grant Robertson (New Zealand Labour Party β€” Member for Wellington Central)
Time unknown

Thank you very much, Mr Chair, for this contribution that I get to make at this time. We come to Part 2 of the Arts Council of New Zealand Toi Aotearoa Bill, which is around the question of community arts providers. Mr Finlayson took some pleasure in quoting some of the submissions. Well, I would like to quote one of them back to him. It comes from what I imagine is now the defunct Taieri Community Arts Council, given that it made its submission in 2010, 3 years ago, and it said it was in the process of winding upβ€”

The CHAIRPERSON (Lindsay Tisch): I am sorry to interrupt the honourable member. The time has come for me to report progress.

House resumed.

The Chairperson reported the Marine Legislation Bill with amendment, and that the Committee had divided it into two bills; the Copyright (Parallel Importing of Films) Amendment Bill without amendment; the Local Government (Auckland Council) Amendment Bill (No 2) without amendment; and progress on the Arts Council of New Zealand Toi Aotearoa Bill.

Report adopted.

The House adjourned at 9.56 p.m.
