Insurance (Prudential Supervision) Amendment Bill
Thank you for the call on Part 1 of the Insurance (Prudential Supervision) Amendment Bill. I have one question for the Minister of Finance, and that is to ascertain whether when assessing whether these regulations were necessary, consideration was given to the trade-off between greater satisfaction with prudential margins and the cost of insurance. That is an issue that I raised in an earlier contribution, and I have not yet had a reply from the Minister.
