I raise a point of order, Mr Speaker. Pursuant to the notice given by the Leader of the House at the Business Committee, I seek leave for Government order of the day No. 2, the Psychoactive Substances Bill, to be taken under urgency in order to ensure that it is passed before the 2-week adjournment.

🗣️ Speech Hon Tim Macindoe (New Zealand National Party — Member for Hamilton West)
Time unknown

I apologise; I was on a phone call, so I missed the beginning. Can I ask the shadow Leader of the House to repeat the beginning of his point of order.

🗣️ Speech Sir Rt Hon Trevor Mallard (New Zealand Labour Party — Member for Hutt South)
Time unknown

I think what I said at the beginning was that pursuant to the notice given at the Business Committee by the Leader of the House, I seek leave of the House for urgency to be accorded to Government order of the day No. 2, the Psychoactive Substances Bill.

The ASSISTANT SPEAKER (Lindsay Tisch): Leave is sought for that purpose. Is there any objection? There is objection.
