Ngāti Whātua o Kaipara Claims Settlement Bill

Could I just give a brief overview of the Supplementary Order Paper 217 to the bill, because it makes changes to four clauses and one schedule. These changes are very technical amendments and what they do is ensure that certain cultural redress properties are able to be vested as intended by the deed of settlement. In most cases these amendments are to ensure that what is being recorded on computer freehold registers is, in fact, accurate.
The question was put that the amendments set out on Supplementary Order Paper 217 in the name of the Hon Christopher Finlayson be agreed to.
