Personal Explanations — Tabling of Documents—Accuracy of Description of Documents

I seek leave to make a personal explanation in respect of the description of the documents that I referred to in the House during the urgent question.

When I referred in the House at question time to the transactions report that had been received with over 2,000 names on it, I referred to it as containing bank account numbers as well. The person who sent it to me said that it had names and bank account details. The bank names were on each of the different pages and so I just assumed that that was what they were. On closer examination, they are probably cheque numbers. I just wanted to confirm on the record of the House that that was my understanding at the time. I did not want anyone to be left with the impression that it was not correct. [Interruption]
