Business Statement
Next week the House is in a 1-week recess. When the House resumes on Tuesday, 9 April the Government will look to progress the Psychoactive Substances Bill, the Social Security (Benefit Categories and Work Focus) Amendment Bill, the Local Electoral Amendment Bill (No 2), the Crown Minerals (Permitting and Crown Land) Bill, and other bills as they become available.
I am just checking whether it is the intention of the Government to move with the Plumbers, Gasβ
π¬ Hon Gerry Brownlee: Sorry, I didnβt hear the start of that.
π¬ Mr SPEAKER: Would the member please repeat his question.
Sure. Is it the intention of the Government to move forward with the plumbers, etc., legislation, which is currently before the Regulations Review Committee, or with any other matter that might involve the promotion of Mr Williamson?
Well, the pace of that bill, the Plumbers, Gasfitters, and Drainlayers Amendment Bill, as the member points out, is in the hands of the select committee.
