I seek leave to make a personal explanation to correct an answer I gave to a supplementary question asked during question time last Wednesday.

💬 Mr SPEAKER: Is there any objection to that course of action? There is no objection.

In response to a supplementary question asked during oral question No. 2 last Wednesday, I indicated that Skycity’s architects had approached Television New Zealand regarding the land. I have accepted Television New Zealand’s statement that it has not had such an approach, and accordingly my answer should be corrected.

I thought it was true. I thought it was right.
