Personal Explanations — Speakers and Presiding Officers—Member’s Apology for Seeking Leave to Table Documents Already Available
Earlier I was most remiss, and my leader has suggested that I stand here. I would like to apologise not only to you, Mr Speaker, but also to my colleagues from the Greens, and also to United Future and to ACT, and also—
💬 Mr DEPUTY SPEAKER: Order! I understand what the member is wanting to do, but he should seek leave to do that by way of a personal statement. So are you seeking leave?
Yes.
💬 Mr DEPUTY SPEAKER: Leave is sought for that purpose. Is there anyone opposed to that course of action? There is none. The member may proceed.
Thank you, Mr Speaker. Look, I would just like to apologise for trifling with the Chair earlier.
💬 Mr DEPUTY SPEAKER: Thank you. Apology accepted.
