Business Statement
Time unknown
Next week the House is in a 1-week adjournment. When the House resumes on Tuesday, 11 September, the Government will look to complete a number of first, second, and third readings on the Order Paper, including the Biosecurity Law Reform, the Patents Bill, and the Land Transport Management Amendment Bill.
Time unknown
Can I ask the Leader of the House whether he can be a bit more specific. To say βa number of first, second, and third readingsβ does not really help with the planning.
Time unknown
Well, I gave three specific bills that we will be progressing. As the shadow Leader of the House knows, I do try, in these adjournments, to get an indication to other parties by Thursday of that week. I will do that this week.
